Over the last few months, Bushy Leaze Family Support have worked with The Tantum Trust and Sophie Neish of Sophie Cooks to join forces to help parents learn how to wean their babies and cook healthy meals for their families.

The Trust funded 4 sessions which were free for families, that covered Baby Weaning, Young Parents cooking and Cooking on a Budget. Sophie started the sessions with informative information for parents and let them get hands on in making and sampling food in the later half of the session. Her top tips created plenty of discussion and sharing of ideas.

“Sophie taught me so much. The course was fab and Sophie is an amazing teacher and helped me build my confidence with cooking so much as well as making meals for my then baby. There is so much different advice on the internet when it comes to weaning it was great to be able to ask questions and get advice specifically about my little one. I am really grateful for the Tantum for funding the course as well as Bushy Leaze for putting on the course :)”

We are so thankful to The Tantum Trust and Sophie for providing such valuable sessions for our families.
